Ikea poem

We went to Ikea yesterday, knew exactly what we wanted.
We received this today, couldn't wait to get it sorted.

Alas! What is this? This is not for us!
Called up the delivery man, hoped not to kick up a fuss.

"One of the packs is not ours",
a supervisor would call us in a few hours.

So what should we do? We want to get assembling..
I guess we could build the other pack, to keep our fingers from trembling.

Let's hope we get the other pack today,
to let every one be on their way.

Browsing, but not buying.

One good thing about globalisation is, that we can browse, say, Ikea stuff here, write down the names of the articles and such, and go to the nearest Ikea from Bournemouth (nicely enough, it's in Southampton) and buy the stuff there. Easy peasy!
So that's what we've been doing today, looking up beds and other furniture. Looks quite promising, I'd say! Still waiting for an answer from my coming employer (I'll tell you more about them later on) about the questions I have, but it's nothing really urgent, so "that's fiiine".
About the expression "that's fiiiine". It's an expression that I got quite used to hearing while working for the Terrence Higgins Trust in Oxford. Me and my volunteer colleague and flatmate was quite entertained by it. You can read about that adventure on my old blog. Can't believe I've been home for a year already. And when I view the blog now, I can see I haven't written anything after I came home. Oops. Why don't I do that here at some point? Yes, I'll definitely do that.

And I promise I'll post pictures for you when I get some decent ones.
